About me
Hi, I’m Tom, a professional photographer with a passion for capturing life's most precious moments.
After 12 years working for the NHS Ambulance service, I discovered a deep appreciation for the importance of preserving meaningful moments. In 2024, I turned that passion into a career, combining my calm presence and attention to detail with my creative eye, adapting to any given situation and try to bring out beauty in each shot.
I believe that great photography is built on trust, comfort, and genuine connection. My relaxed yet professional approach ensures you can feel at ease while I capture natural, heartfelt moments.
I have dedicated my journey in photography to continuous learning and professional development, earning multiple certifications and diplomas to refine my craft. I began with a foundational photography course at the School of Photography, followed by certifications in Lightroom and Photoshop, headshot photography, fine art family portraiture, portrait retouching, astrophotography, macro photography, professional landscape photography, and wildlife photography. To further solidify my expertise, I obtained a Professional Diploma from the Institute of Photography, which enabled me to achieve ‘Qualified’ status with the Guild of Photographers. Building on this foundation, I also completed a diploma in wedding photography, equipping me with the skills to capture life’s most meaningful moments with artistry and precision.
When I'm not behind the camera, you'll likely find me enjoying the outdoors, spending time with family, or exploring new creative ideas.
